The UIC Cultural Dialogue
Publication date
2026Abstract
The UIC Cultural Dialogue is a student‑led video podcast
created as part of the Final Project for the Master’s in Arts
and Cultural Management at the International University of
Catalunya. It was developed between January and July 2026.
The podcast bridges academic training and the realities of the
cultural industry through authentic, relaxed conversations with
alumni and cultural professionals working within the sector.
Together with the guests, the hosts explore a range of topics
surrounding their personal preferences, culture and artistic
creation (e.g. creativity, identity chalenges, versatility,
contemporary realities within the cultural sector, etc.).
The team consists of four Master’s students coming from
different countries and backgrounds: Juliette Djemani,
Mohammadali Nasiripour (Ali), Maria Patrisha Aronzado (Trisha),
and Happyness Melis.
The two episodes “Art, identity & POC Voices” and “Versatility
& Creativity: Is the Cultural Manager a Swiss Knife?”, each
exceeding 60 minutes in length, were recorded on campus at
the UIC Barcelona media studio and are intended mainly for
international students, individuals navigating early cultural
careers, established professionals, alumni, or anyone broadly
interested in culture.
The podcast is distributed via Spotify, YouTube, and promoted
through its Instagram account (@theuicculturaldialogue).
