Abstract

L'anàlisi sistemàtica de la vivència de la corporalitat duta a terme per Edmund Husserl constitueix un punt de referència per a la reflexió contemporània sobre el cos, tant a dins com a fora de la tradició fenomenològica. En el nostre article ens proposem de fer una presentació d'alguns dels aspectes més significatius. Així, destaquem, en primer lloc, la importància del cos cinestèsic, és a dir, el cos com a òrgan sensorial lliurement mogut que compleix una funció constituent respecte a l'objecte percebut. Abordem a continuació el tòpic més recurrent de la fenomenologia de la corporalitat: la doble aprehensió o interpretació del cos com a cos físic i cos viscut, tot subratllant l'entrelligament d'ambdós aspectes en l'experiència no patològica del propi cos. Finalment, subratllem, amb Husserl, el paper prioritari del tacte en la constitució del propi cos i el caràcter essencialment tàctil de les ubiestèsies o sensacions localitzades que fan aparèixer el cos com a propi. Com a colofó, destaquem la recepció de la fenomenologia de la corporalitat husserliana en el pensament del fenomenòleg francès Maurice Merleau-Ponty i indiquem altres línies actuals de recerca.

The systematic analysis of the experience of embodiment, conducted by Edmund Husserl is a benchmark for contemporary reflection on the body, both inside and outside the phenomenological tradition. In our article we give a presentation of some of its most important aspects. Thus we first highlight the importance of the kinesthetic body, i. e., the body as a freely moved sensory organ which has a constituent function regarding the perceived object. We then tackle the most recurrent topic of the phenomenology of embodiment: the double apprehension or interpretation of the body as a physical body and a lived body, emphasizing the intertwining of both aspects in the non-pathological experience of the own body. Finally, we stress, together with Husserl, the central role of the touch in the constitution of the lived body and the essential tactile character of the localized sensations that make the body appear as one’s own. In closing, we emphasize the incorporation of the phenomenology of embodiment in the thinking of the French phenomenologist Maurice Merleau-Ponty and we indicate other lines of current research.
